1. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States.
When you access the site, Vercel processes information needed to deliver and secure it. This may include your IP address, IP-derived location, the requested page, date and time, browser and device or system configuration, and server log and diagnostic information.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the reliable, secure and efficient delivery of this website. Vercel processes data in the United States and other countries and states that it uses the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards for relevant transfers. Vercel retains information only as long as necessary for its contractual, legal, security and legitimate business purposes, then deletes or anonymises it.
For more information, see Vercel’s privacy notice.
2. Analytics
I use WireBoard Analytics, provided by SwissOps Ltd., Sur la Croix 147, 1020 Renens, Switzerland, to understand how this website is used and to improve its content and performance. WireBoard is configured in cookieless mode.
It does not use analytics cookies, local storage, persistent visitor identifiers or device fingerprints, and does not recognise visitors across different page views.
The information processed includes:
- the page visited and timestamp
- referrer information
- browser type and screen size
- time spent on the page
- page-load performance information
- approximate geographic location
As with any HTTP request, the visitor’s IP address is transmitted when connecting to WireBoard’s infrastructure. WireBoard states that the IP address is used only to determine approximate geographic information and is anonymised at the point of collection. The full IP address is not retained for analytics purposes.
WireBoard processes this data on my behalf. Temporary visitor data is removed after the visit, while aggregated statistics may be retained for up to three years.
WireBoard states that analytics data is processed on EU-based infrastructure. Its tracking script is delivered through bunny.net’s global content delivery network, which may transiently process the IP address and user agent when serving the script.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is understanding the use and performance of this website without creating persistent visitor profiles or using advertising trackers.
I do not use the analytics data to create visitor profiles or for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
For more information, see WireBoard’s privacy policy and sub-processor list.
